Hiiiii LJ world. I'm bored and I haven't posted a little while so I thought I would update about the shows I've been watching.

The Big C - Love it love it love itttt. I struggled a little bit earlier in the season because everything was just so casual and meh, and I love drama. But the season finale was amazinggg and kind of put the entire season in perspective for me. I love Adam. And Todd. Laura Linney and Oliver Platt are obviously amazing; no surprises there.

Community - This is my new must-watch Thursday show. It's fucking bizarre that I can't not find it hilarious. Senor Chang is my favorite person in the world, predictably, and I am totally obsessed with the fact that Chevy Chase is playing himself. It will never not make me happy.

30 Rock, The Office, How I Met Your Mother - I will never leave these shows, but I'm not really getting invested in them anymore. I loved the live episode of 30 Rock, though. I usually don't like live episodes, but they obviously tried to use the live format to complement the things that are already awesome on the show and create even better jokes (ie: using Julia Louis-Dreyfus as a stand-in).

House - This season is starting to win me over. The episodes have more of a balance between House/Cuddy and the POTW. I love Amber Tamblyn's character, too; I think she's an interesting addition to the team dynamic.

Damages - I'm catching up on season 3. I love Martin Short. I'm sad that Glenn is less scary than she usually is, but I'll wait it out. Also, I love Tate Donovan in this season.

Modern Family - Brilliant as always. I'm not super engaged in it, but I love it every week and do my best not to fall behind because it amuses me like nothing else on TV right now.

Glee - Gwyneth Paltrow was so awesome this week. Sue is brilliant this season, of course. I also really like Beiste? So weird. I realize the show has some annoying qualities, but they don't really bother me that much anymore.

Desperate Housewives, Brothers & Sisters - Watching both of these religiously. I don't know what I would ever do without my dramatic Sunday nights.

In other news, I recently learned that I watched this on pretty much a daily basis as a child. It very well may explain why I am the strange person I am today. SCARRED FOR LIFE. It's a fucking cartoon about a cat evading being eaten by rats, okay? And yet it's presented in a really cheery format. So, yeah, not cool.

Oh man, I am so bored, it's ridiculous. I spent half the weekend on Second Life and then hated on myself a little because I can't stand being unproductive. And now I have too much homework, so clearly that won't be happening anytime soon.

Anyway, I did this once before, but I totally forgot about it and I can't even find the post anymore.

So, anyone who is willing to share, can I have your screen names for AIM, Yahoo, or MSN, or your gmail address if you do gmail chat? I am so in need of people to talk to (and clearly I blame [livejournal.com profile] illusory_thrill for being in college and having things to do during the day :P).

Comments are screened.

PS, I'm totally kind of obsessed with Melora Hardin, and I think she scares me in more ways than most people. I find her music really frightening. But I've been watching season 2 of The Office nonstop, so it's basically been good times all around.
